03.12.06 Melton Mowbray Victorian Christmas  (town centre) - The band led the parade at the opening of the Victorian Christmas Market as well giving an afternoon performance. Although there were strong winds, at least it was sunny.  

12.11.06 Remembrance Sunday Parade, Castle Bromwich (Birmingham) - A mini band led the parade to the war memorial for the service of Remembrance and gave a short display at the ex serviceman's club after lunch.

11.11.06 Leicester City Football Club (Walker's Stadium). The band played outside the main entrance as fans arrived for the match as well as at half time when the Veterans paraded round the grounds.

21.10.06 Leicester Caledonian Society President's Night , Glenfield. The band gave two performances during the evening including our new March Strathspey and Reel set. 

26.8.06 Private Wedding - Prestwold Hall near Loughborough.  The band played as the guests arrived for the couples wedding. Pipe Sergeant Carl Wilkinson piped the bride in and out at the civil ceremony and then the band played in the gardens after the ceremony while the photographs were being taken.

 20.8.06 Ibstock Country Fair - Cattows Farm, Heather near Ibstock.  The band played twice during the afternoon and one of the pipers played the bass drum.

30.7.06 Walker's Stadium / Leicester City Football Club

15.7.06 Beaumanor Hall Open-air concert , Woodhouse near Quorn.  The band played at the interval of the open-air concert and this year the multi-talented piper, Wendy Lloyd, danced the Highland Fling during the performance.

01.7.06. Skegness (Burgh le Marsh)  A mini band gave two performances at the Newton & Newton flag and banner makers at their premises in Burgh le Marsh.

24.6.06 Sinfin Carnival The band opened the Carnival at 12 Noon and gave a further performance at 2pm.

18.6.06 Dunkirk Veteran's Parade , Bournville  Once again, the band led the parade to and from the war memorial for this annual remembrance. The band also performed at the social club afterwards.                

17.4.06  Kelmarsh Countryman Fair - Near Market Harborough  & 16.4.06  The band gave 2 performances during the day on both Easter Sunday and Monday and despite the showery weather on Monday, we managed to avoid the showers whilst performing.

12.03.06 The band, led by Pipe Major Tom Rooney and his fellow pipers led the St. Patrick's Day Parade from the Assembly Rooms, Derby  to St. Mary's church. Following the service, the band led the parade back from the church and then on to the Heritage Hotel via the Market Place and St. Peters Street. Despite the snow, everyone was in good spirits and the glass of the famous black liquid was appreciated that bit more when we arrived at the Heritage Hotel.

18.2.06 Leicester Caledonian Society Function - Braunstone   The band's  first engagement for 2006 went well and Peter Scatterty (accordionist) made the performance of Highland Cathedral that little bit better than normal when he joined in to play along with pipe band.
