In our first year, we played at various engagements mainly in Leicestershire
On Sunday 10.11.02 the band led the parade for Remembrance Sunday in Quorn.
On Sunday morning 15.9.02. , the band played led a church parade for the RAF Association in Birstall.
On Saturday evening 14.9.02. , the band played at a Leicester Caledonian Society function in Glenfield
On Saturday afternoon 14.9.02. , the band led the parade for the Anstey Carnival.
The band played at the start of a concert at Beaumanor Hall, Woodhouse Eaves on Saturday 13.7.02.

On Sunday 30.06.02. , the band led a church parade for the Dunkirk veterans at Bournville, Birmingham.

On Sunday 2.6.02. , the band played at a parade in Humberstone.
The band played at a coffee morning on Saturday 25.5.02 at the Church rooms, Church Lane, Quorn. Despite threatening heavy showers, the coffee morning was a resounding success. By 10 am , the opening time, there was a sizeable queue of visitors waiting at the door. The band performed a varied selection of standard pipe marches including its own special arrangement of Highland Cathedral which commenced with the solo pipes of Brad Yates (our pipe major) before being joined by the rest of the band. Rod Masters (drum sergeant) played his own specially devised snare drum beating to complement the delightful melody.

After only forming weeks earlier, the band's first public engagement was at the Leicester Caledonian Society's 125th Anniversary Dinner Dance on 16.2.02.
